Polar Denim Chinos
Seen here in a dark blue colourway, these Denim Chinos from Polar are made from heavyweight cotton and have been cut to a baggy fit with a tapered leg. The waistband is secured by a single YKK button and underneath a zippered fly has been added. Below the waistband two sets of small pleats add subtle shaping to the design, influenced by traditional chino styles. On either side of the waist two open entrance pockets are available for storage of small everyday items, in addition to two welt pockets on the reverse. Branding has been kept to a minimum for a timeless look, with a single rectangular label on the right side of the reverse showing bold ‘Polar Skate Co’ lettering. The legs have straight cut hems for a clean finish and flat felled seams across the design ensure a high level of durability.
Known for their creative skate videos, use of custom artwork each season and solid skate team which includes the likes of Hjalte Halberg, Aaron Herrington, Nick Boserio and Oskar Rozenberg, Polar Skate Co. was founded in 2011 by skater and filmmaker Pontus Alv and remains based in Malmö, Sweden where the team design seasonal collections of apparel, accessories and skate hardware.
